My Purchase ID Doesn't Work!!?

I ordered a PC from Dell back on January 31st and the Purchase ID has never worked. Every time I've tried searching for my order, it doesn't come with anything.

I had a guy in chat tell me that my order didn't go through, yet there's been a hold on my credit card ever since I placed that order. Please help!

Thank you for posting your concerns on the Dell Community Forum Customer Care Board regarding the Dell Purchase ID (DPID). Allow me to apologize for any frustration or inconvenience you may have been caused. 

The information you were previously provided is most likely accurate. If after 24-48 hours you have not received an email confirmation with an order number, then the order most likely was not generated in our system.  Dell receives payment once an order has shipped. If your funds are still on hold, you may contact your bank and ask the funds to be released. 

If you still need assistance, please reply to my email and provide the requested information.
