Replacement system, 2 1/2 month wait?

2 1/2 month ago Dell said they need to replace my Precision 7910 workstation. 1 1/2 after that they sent me a system that came not configuration right. So I had to send that system back. I talked to the support agent today and he said they had to rebuild and he said I would get Precision 7920 workstation and it was being build in Mexico. And it would take 2 1/2 months for me to get it. And I had no idea that I would be with a computer for so long. I have worked with Dell for years and it has never taken this long to get services.
