I'm sorry I don't wanna sound dumb, but exactly does it mean when they say to return to depot?

Reason why I'm asking is because my laptop sustained some damage and my warranty says to return to depot in order to get it servucrd..

I'm assuming g it means to return it to where we bought it?

Thanks for posting.

Here is information regarding Return to Depot service.  If you did not purchase directly from Dell, the retailer you purchased from may have additional warranty, as some retailers cover the unit during the first year.
