I placed an order for a laptop and they took the money from my credit card and 2 days later I received an email from <Forum violation. Dell private data> asking for a copy of my ID and proof of address. When I called costumer service, they said that the order was cancelled but they can't <profane> tell my why even if the payment is made. And then without listen to me, they sent me to sales to a <profane> automated system, with no option to be transferred to a human being. This is the worst service I have ever had, horrible experience. I am not against verification, but costumer service can't even confirm that the mail came from them or not. I just want to know if the email was a scam or real, but nobody wanted to answer my question. I worked in Dell. I know that they can see all the information related to a transaction including if any email has been sent. It's just bad service. I just want my money back and buy from another company.
