XPS 12 processor options
I have been interested in the XPS 12 for some time now, even more so since the Haswell refresh. I have read from a couple sources (namely thevirge.com and laptopmag.com) that the i7-4650u should be available as an option, though I only see the i5-4200u and i7-4500u as options. Is the absence of the 4650u due to supply issues, or will it only be available based on region?

The XPS 12 is validated with the following Dell OEM CPUs =
i3-4010
i5-4200
i7-4500
i7-4550
i7-4650
Yes, due to supply, some regions may not offer them all.

Thanks Chris, I figured this was the case. I am hoping to see the i7-4650u as an available option in the US later this year/early next.

hi i was wondering do you or does anyone know perhaps why the i3 is not on the options anymore for a new xps 12 system build ?
was it just not popular ? did it never sell where their issues with it ?
i just purchased a xps 12 convertible from the dell outlet site with the i3 and am wondering if i went the wrong route ?
