impossible ordering system online

I've spent OVER 18 hours within the past few days, over 24 hours including 11/29/2015-12/02/2015, trying to place orders, get EVERY form of customer support, and as of now, my phone has been on hold for 36 minutes trying to cancel todays order because discounts were not applied at checkout. The first two times I was on hold for at least 25 min., and then disconnected. After more than 10 years as a "Preferred" status customer, I really do expect MUCH MUCH better commnication skills from Dell. What's up with this automated answering, and personal contact peeps, ultimately, DELL.COM?????
