EFD formatting

I hope this is the right place to ask question. I can’t seem to initialize my Samsung SSD. The label says it’s a SATA enterprise flash drive. Problem is whenever I try to do anything with it it is “not ready”.  I just want to create a primary NTFS partition. A guide I found on the Internet suggested Initializing it with clusters size 512 in Linux, but here are the error messages when I try to do that.
