PS4000e Firmware
Have a PS4000e with outdated firmware. Dell/EMC site won't allow a download of the latest firmware without a support agreement. Unit is past EOL so no agreement available. How do I obtain the firmware?

Without an active support agreement, you can’t get any updates or firmware for your PS4000e.

I was under the understanding that a product past it's EOL could not have a support agreement?

Hello DaikinMan,
That is correct, if your Equallogic is EOL once the support contract expires it can’t be renewed. Equallogic systems can have a max of seven years of support from the date of purchase.
