DD Replication and ifgroup
Hello,
I looked on the support site and could not find any new documentation regarding DD Replication and IFGROUPs. Looks like not much has changed and only MFR (managed file replication) is supported. Is that still the case?
Thank you

Nowadays ifgroups are for DDBOOST backups and DDBOOST Managed File Replication, not for mtree replication.
For load balancing with mtree replication, you can create a virtual interface that aggregates several NICS, or use static routes pointing to different target IPs for ensuring that different interfaces are being used.
Hope it helps
Cheers,

while you can specify replication target, you can't specify source interface to use for specific replication context. Even if we could, this is not early 2000 ..DDBoost been around for a long time, need dynamic capability.
