Is Multipath SW required for FC DDBoost access to Data Domain?
Hi,
I have a storage node which will be connected to my Data Domain via two FC connections, one to each fabric.
Do I need muti path software on the storage node to manage these paths or is the storage presentation managed by the Data Domain appliance?

Hi,
You don't need multi path software since it is the DataDomain BOOST over FC protocol who will manage the addressing using the paths configured as access groups in the ddboost over FC configuration.
Also, it is suggested to disable multi pathing software for ddboost over FC connections.
