Veth01 on Data Domain is destroyed, system not coming up

Hi All,

we have a Data Domain DD670. It was having a failover  virtual interface configured.  It got destroyed by mistake. Now Data Domain is not coming up.  Please let me know what steps we should follow now.

Also no IPMI is configured for the system.

Thanks

Hello!

The DD is not coming up or just not reachable from the network?

You should connect directly to the system using KVM\Serial, check the current status and reconfigure your virtual interface.

Let me know should you require more information on how to connect or setting up the interfaces from command line.

Best regards,

Shlomi

Try to connect via serial connection and reconfigure missing interface.  Unless coming up means it hangs during boot sequence, but even so via serial connection you should be able to connect and fix it further.

Hi Shlomi,

you were right. I just lost its connection from the network. now i have reconfigured the virtual interface and everything is back to normal.

Thanks for the suggestion.
