List of jobs not subsequently re-run and successful.
This is a NetBackup DPA question.
How do I get a list of failures which have NOT subsequently been re-run and had a successful outcome.
eg. Backup Job fails, backup re-tries and then succeeds. I don't want this in the list of failures.
Currently we work it by finding all failures and manually checking each failure to search whether or not there has been a subsequent 'successful job' outcome.
I'm attempting to customise this into a specific report, that can be run multiple times in a day, showing a diminishing list of errors as each one is addressed.
Any assistance on how I approach doing this would be appreciated.

I've been looking at the "Num Failed Backup Jobs after Deduplication" data source - I would want the listing output of this rather than the numerical total of number of jobs.
eg. I'd like to have a listing of all the backups that failed, if any had a later success within the same period, they are not included.
Maybe it's just a simple failure list report which I modify and I apply the deduplication algorithm?

Hi, we need a dpa report to not list a job as a failure just because it fails on the first attempt. If my server fails on the first attempt, and succeeds on the second I don't want to report that as a failure.
