macOS Mojave 10.14.5 Support


Dell Data Security now supports macOS Mojave 10.14.5 on:

·        Dell Encryption Enterprise for Mac v10.1.0.8425 and later

Symantec Endpoint Protection and Dell Encryption Compatibility

Dell Data Security and Symantec have worked together to identify a race condition during file renames on endpoints running Symantec Endpoint Protection v14.X and later with Dell Encryption 8.18.0 and earlier. In rare instances during a rename or move operation for a file, memory may become corrupted, resulting in an Operating System failure.

To resolve, upgrade Dell Encryption to 8.18.1 or later. For more information, reference Operating System Failure with Dell Encryption and Symantec Endpoint Protection.
