Dell Trusted Device v4.4.0 is Available

New Features and Functionality v4.4

  • BIOS Verification now retrieves the BIOS version installed during the verification process.
  • Trusted Device now writes the current BIOS version and the recommended BIOS version to Windows Event Viewer.
  • The Trusted Device Event Repository now supports BIOS version reporting.
  • The JSON configuration files used to create custom compliance policies in Microsoft Endpoint Manager have been merged into a single file.

  • The Trusted Device driver has been hardened. DPS-4473, DPS-4469

Resolved Technical Advisories v4.4

  • An issue resulting in a false error in the Service logs is resolved. DPS-4464

  • In rare situations, the recommended BIOS version written in Windows Event Viewer currently identifies non-production BIOS versions as recommended.
    Verify the recommended latest BIOS version for your computer at www.dell.com/support. DPS-4529

Netskope Release 93 is available, including new product highlights MITRE ATT&CK Framework For Mapping Threat Behaviors In Sandbox Analysis Retrohunt API and several product fixes.

Advanced Threat Prevention End of Maintenance

The Advanced Threat Prevention component of Dell's Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise has reached End of Maintenance.

What this means for Administrators:

  • Advanced Threat Prevention build 2.1.1585 is the final build available with Auto-Update.
  • Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise build 3.4.0 is the final release containing 2.1.1585.
  • Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise is supported through the life of current maintenance contracts.

Next Generation Anti-Virus provided by Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise will be superseded with VMware Carbon Black Cloud.
