Windows 10 upgrade 1809

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to test version 1809 (build 17763.1) on a new machine (v.1803 build 17134.48) but getting the following error message:

Win10upgrade.png

I tried WsProbe -Z from an elevated command prompt and then rerun the update but keeps failing with the same error.

Policy Based Encryption: v.10.0.0.11
Encryption Management Agent: v.10.0.0.6

I checked this KB and other similar treats at this forum for more information.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hey josebilbao!

The current agent does not support Windows 10 1809.  We will be releasing a new 10.1 agent later this month \ early next month that will support RS5.

This KB has our support matrix and what is the lowest supported version of any DDS software.  The DDS agents are now configured to block upgrades they do not support to prevent issues.

If you would like to upgrade to 1809 at this time it would require you to uninstall and fully decrypt your device.  Once we release 10.1 you can then re-install and encrypt your data.

Thanks!
