AD group management
Hello,
I'm relatively new to OpenManage Enterprise, but I've already managed to deploy it with AD group integration for logins, configure and discover devices.
I have a question regarding AD group import. Does OME remember credentials and checks group contents periodically or should that be done manually from time to time. Automatic option would be nice as in case of incoming/outgoing staff we'd only have to add/remove specific people from group, OME would then sync group and them permission to login using AD credentials. How is it then?

Hello,
The only credential that OMEnt would handle is the built in admin account. As far as groups, modifying group membership at AD level will translate to who has access to OMEnt. If the member is is in the right roles, they could access it. Its all authenticated by the AD infrastructure, each time.

thanks, yes your answer is enough for me, I can safely add our IT staff AD group to enable access for all its members.
