Change the Dell OME hostname and domain
Is there a way to change the Dell OME hostname and domain after it's been deployed?
If not, anyway to deploy a new one and migrate the data over?

Tlawhead,
If you follow this link it will take you the page to assist with changing the hostname.
Let me know if this helps.

This doesn't help changing the hostname for Open Manage Enterprise, only Essentials.

Hi Marc
There are two fields under "Current Settings" in the App settings. But they are not correctly populated in the Tech Release. I think there is some work being done on this in the follow up release since there was really nothing in the way of a hostname setting feature in this release.
Thanks,
Rob

Ah okay, thanks Rob. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy!
Tech Release is really great so far! Really looking forward to the final release of this product. SO much better than OMEssentials.

Hi.
I've installed Openmanage Enterprise Tech release now, and have encountered a few problems.
Among them, how do I change hostname, DNS, FQDN etc?
When I go to Application Settings, I can only see current setttings, not change them.
Same at the VMWare console, only see, but not change.
This causes problems for:
- Not able to use DNS-name as URL
- Not able to set up directory services login properly
- And I'm also guessing this is why I only see NETBIOS names on Windows server after their DRAC's have been scanned.
Thanks.
