Authentication Failure

I'm trying to setup the Alerting for Open manage essentials but before I turn on the emails for critical alerts I'm trying to think them out. I've got the SNMP setup on all our VMs but we get this recurring alert Authentication failure for each one. Then after that another saying its immediately fine. The inventory all works so I know they don't all have an incorrect community name or something like that. Does anyone know what I'm missing

Can you share the Alert Details screen so that we can look into it?

Please make sure you mask the sensitive information like Device Name/IP for the same.

Hi,

Authentication failure trap is related to unsuccessful SNMP connection because of community name mismatch. To know more about this trap and the steps to fix it, please refer OME FAQ item #10.2 (Misc section) located below:
