Cross-Verify IDRAC settings

Hi All,

 

I have a batch file, which has set of commands. The commands configure the idrac to enabled below things:-

 

1) Alert Enable

2) Set SNMP Community String

3) Destination Adress

4) Enables warning and critical alerts for SNMP notifications.

 

I ran the commands, now the question is , as to how to cross-verify the idrac settings if the command has actually ran or not adn the configurations are in place.

Thanks for the query.

This can be easily achieved by using Configuration Deployment and Compliance feature of OpenManage Essentials. Please note, a per node license is required on each of the target servers you wish to use these features on. Below is a white paper that provides details around using these advanced features:
