Dell OpenManage Essentials version & upgrade
Greetings,
We have downloaded what appears to be the latest version of Dell OpenManage Essentials and have begun moving our environment from our old IT Assistant deployment. I have read through a bunch of posts, the FAQ, blog, and Wiki and don't see this mentioned anywhere...
The question is: The current version we have implemented is from 12/6/11 A001.0Eval. Is this considered a Beta as it is labeled Eval? Is this the latest version and and if not, is it safe to continue to fully migrate over to it and upgrade to newer versions if/when released?

Hi Kevin,
Yeah, that's it. About Box should show Build 30. That is the latest. It is OME 1.0 Open Eval. We are collecting feedback from this forum and others to drive final improvements or changes to the product before the final release in Q1 of this year.
When OME 1.0.1 is released (soon), it will install/upgrade on top of Build 30, the Open Eval.
