Host OS showing as unknown
R710 and R515 are detected via the *IDRAC* and the inventory completes successfully.
Our later dell servers (eg 720), show the systems OS. Am I too assume that the OS detect is not a feature in older idrac versions? I have been looking for stuff like "OS collector" on the dell drivers website, but there seems to be an absence on the older dell models.

Hi, thanks for the query.
Only difference I can think of is that your 720s might be having OMSA or iSM installed on the OS which feeds this information to the iDRAC. If you are interested in having this information, you need to install OMSA/iSM on 710s also.
