How to change the WMI password for all servers
Hi All,
I am new to OME, i have added around 150 windows servers to OME console, i am having some doubts on WMI password.
I am using a domain account for WMI credentials. if i change the password, does it automatically change in OME or do i manually change the passowrd for all servers.
if it dificult to change the password in all servers manually, is ther any way to change password for all servers at at time?

Hi Vijay and thanks for the question.
Are you needing to change the password on your discovery range in OME?
Did you create 150 separate discovery ranges or one range for the 150 servers?
If you created a bunch of different one's you will have to change them one at a time (painful).
If you created a big range (or several big ranges), it should not be too hard.
In the upcoming release of OME you will be able to group discoveries into protocol groups that have common credentials and attributes. So you could then change the password for the entire group. This might help you in the future.
