IDRAC and OMSA Both are sending similar alerts In DELL OME
Hi Folks, The weird behavior here is, i am getting 2 alerts for same issue for same server. One is from Idrac and another one from OMSA. This is causing problem with my rules which i have configured. I am sending emails to SNOW from DELL OME to get the incident created. Since i have discovered the server from idrac and not from OMSA, so the alert coming from idrac has the hostname and service tag mentioned, but the alert which is coming from OMSA do not have any hostname and service tag in email body. This is causing problem with incident creation. My question here is why i am receiving alerts from OMSA, when i have discovered it from idrac. Regards Ankur Mishra

Hi Ankur,
If servers are completely managed (discovery and events) through iDRAC in OME, you need to turn off alerts from OMSA to avoid duplicate notifications.
