Is it possible to use OME to do a battery learn cycle
Hi,
On one of our 2950 servers DRAC shows an error message "The storage battery is low"
VMware Health status shows Battery, disk drive bay 3 ROMB battery 0: failed - deassert
Is there any way I can use OME to force a learn cycle to see if that clears the error ?
Thanks

You can by using the omconfig battery commands that are documented on page 174 of the guide at this link:
ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_electronics/esuprt_software/esuprt_ent_sys_mgmt/dell-opnmang-srvr-admin-v7.2_Reference%20Guide_en-us.pdf
Hope this helps!

Hey,
You don't need to use any exe separately. You can use the command line feature of OME under remote tasks tab to execute any OMSA command on a remote system. You just need to select Remote server administrator command under create Command line task option and provide whichever command you want to execute on any of the target. You can choose to run the command periodically or just once. Hope this helps.
