Looking for a valid SAS RAID driver for R730
Hi all,
I have a poweredge R730 server and Windows Hyper-v 2012r2 Core installed on it.
When i connect on OpenManage Essentials I have a message which say that the driver of my controller PERC H730P Mini is out of date :
| Firmware version | 25.5.4.0006 |
| Driver version | 6.600.21.08 |
| Driver version minimal required | 6.603.01.00 |
| Version driver Storport | 6.3.9600.18833 |
So i tried to find the driver version 6.603.01.00 but unable to find it.
So i have downloaded the latest driver that i found from https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=6V4WY
however when i import it from the iDRAC menu update i get the message : "The DUP specified is not compatible with the target device."
So i don't know why this package is not recognize on my server, any idea ?

Hi, thanks for the query.
Please try system update on this server using OME. The driver and firmware compliance report will clearly indicate the latest version that is available for a particular component. You can view it by selecting the target server under Non-Compliant devices section of system update portal.

Hi,
In fact my system is Hyper-v 2012R2 core and i don't know if it's possible to install OME on it because it needs additionnal role as IIS or SQL Server express, any idea ?

OME is a one-to-many management console. You can install it on any system, can also be a VM. Then discover your hardware using supported protocols and manage them.
