OpenManage Essentials 2.2 is using WMI domain login to WS-Man iDRACs
OpenManage Essentials 2.2 is using WMI domain login to WS-Man iDRACs.
Several of my iDRAC are showing this message:
Login attempt alert for airport\dellom.agent from 192.128.1.1 using WS-MAN, IP will be blocked for 30 seconds.
The configured discovery is set for WMI to login with dellom.agent. So when later in the discovery comes back to use the WS-MAN login of apidrac it is failing because the iDRAC is ignoring all communication with the OME server because of bad login. How do I fix this and not have the iDRAC stop all communication with OME?

Hi, thanks for the query.
Please ensure your setup is not having overlapping ranges with different type of protocols selected. A type of protocol connection is only attempted if it is configured so. A general rule of thumb is, keep all your in-band (OS based) IPs and out-of-band (iDRAC and CMC) IPs on separate set of discovery ranges. This way you know for sure which protocols are enabled for which set of IPs/devices.
