Push OME Updates to servers in a non-trusted domain
We are having issues with using OME to push updates to another domain that does not have a trust in place with the domain the OME server is on. The word we got from support was this was expected and they did not support pushing updates without a trust. I would expect this application to be deployed in larger environments that have this same configuration. Are we expected to install one per domain or is there a way around this?

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
Currently the trust relationship between the domains is required for validating the credentials used for the update task. As you mentioned, it can be addressed either by adding trust relationship or by installing a different OME instance in that domain.
We will surely review this and see if we can make any changes for future releases.

I was able to push updates from our OME server (on Domain A) to several servers on our test domain (Domain B) - and there is no trust in place between the two domains. Did you try supplying the user name for the task in the format domain\username?
