Stopping certain alerts

Which alert categories can I uncheck in order to stop getting messages when a virtual machine is powered off or when any server is rebooted? Thanks in advance for any insight...

There are so many alerts, I don't know which one is causing these messages....

Hi,

Thanks for your post. Easiest would be to select the unwanted alert and right click on it. Choose the ignore on all devices option. That would automatically create an ignore filter for that type of alert coming from all devices.

I assume you are seeing the messages on the OME portal page or under Manage->Alerts option. You can click on any message received from any VM when a VM is powered off. Once you select the option to ignore that for all devices, all the future messages of same type from all other VMs will be ignored. You can do the same for the server rebooted message.

The idea is to do it once for one type of message you want to ignore.
