1080 Resolution problem
I have recently bought a new aurora r4 alienware with windows 8 and the resolutions don't seem to be working. The t.v I have Is a LG flatron and is HD ready but when the computer is in 1080 the screen is to large to fit the t.v this ids also affecting my gaming and the latest game I have bought I have to play in 800 by 700 for it to work. please could someone help I would really appreciate it :emotion-1:

Hi Gally141,
When you say the screen is too large for the TV, I assume you mean the TV does not show the entire desktop. I can think of two possible reasons:
1. You have an AMD video card and you need to adjust the scaling in the Catalyst Control Center.
2. Your TV resolution is actually 1280x720, not 1920x1080.
