2 issues with AC411 Bluetooth speakers

I recently purchased a Dell AOI with AC411 speakers. Two annoying issues have arisen with the speakers:

1. Whenever I power on the speakers and hit the Bluetooth button, the AOI's sound switches to mute. I have to click on the speaker icon in the tray to unmute it.

2. Seemingly at random, the speakers will not power on. I have to unplug the cord from the subwoofer to get it power up.
