435T Fan Noise

I have a XPS Studio 435T and the fans have started running at a higher speed during normal (Non Graphic Intensive) operations. Is there a utility that will let me monitor the fan speed and temperature of the CPU and GPU to determine which one is genertaing the noise?

Could the problem be caused by the ambient room air temperature or that you have the PC located where it cannot get adequate air?  (a computer desk compartment is not the best location).

Try this tool http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitorpro.php .  It's free...
