5040 sff video -- cant get optimal resolution...on a DELL monitor...
5040 with onboard vid.
put a super-wide Dell monitor on the PC (29"?)
the monitor wants 2560x1080 as "optimal"
all PC shows available are a couple lower resolutions, which make the screen all stretched. looks very ***
I used the included "driver" disk to install the monitor drivers-- no change
Dell command update checked for updates for vid card-- no updates.
would imagine that a dell PC could drive a dell monitor...

did it per video
it added that resolution--- to the wrong monitor
re-did it--made sure it was on the large monitor--tried to add the resolution--it said it was already there (it is not)
