7040 Wireless Switching

I'm trying to get wireless switching enabled on a 7040 Micro Desktop.  Previous models and our laptops all have the option, so upon a wired connection, the wireless connection is disabled.  We need this as a security measure, because the devices can maintain a connection on the wire to my network, and also through the wireless to our Public WiFi connection, effectively opening a door to any attacks that get by our AV/FW/IPS systems.

I've tried the latest driver, and I don't see it in the BIOS either.  Did Dell take this option away?

Thanks...ricka

To answer my own question..  Installing the latest Intel Administrator toolkit for Wireless connectivity allowed me to create a custom driver package that hard codes the option for Wireless Switching.  I tested it on a device connected to my public Wi-Fi, and once a cable was plugged in, the Wi-Fi was disabled within a few seconds.

Here is the link I read this from...>  www.intel.com/.../000005972.html
