82915g gv 910gl

I was able to download a different set of drivers for my Toshiba laptop, from Intel and it fixed a problem with a video program I need to use.  However, the update for 82915g gv 910gl on the Dell website is kinda old and doesn't fix the problem. The newest 1/17/07 driver at Intel is not allowed to be installed. I assume by a function of Dell's software.  Anyway, is there a way to bypass the "sentry" and Install the newest driver, which I think will fix the problem?

Oh, I forgot to say this Onboard video is what I got on my Dell Dimension E310. which I guess I got (on sale) just when Dell pulled it, ie Sept. 1 2006.
