8300 won't boot
I have a 8300 Pentium 4 I still use. It won't boot up. There are errors concerning the hard drive, usb etc. I can't get into the Bios or boot from the disk. Could the BIOS be bad? Would installing a new mobo get it working?

Might help if you post the exact error messages you get. And include the version of Windows too.
What color is the power button on front of tower? And is it steady or blinking?
What color are the 4 diagnostic LEDs on rear of the tower? If not all green, error codes are on page 54, here.
Install any new hardware or software before this happened?
When was last time you replaced motherboard battery?

What is the colour of the power button LED, is it solid green, blinking green, solid amber, blinking amber, check the sequence of the four Diagnostic Lights on the back of the case.
The 8300 Troubleshooter and Diagnostic codes are HERE
