Ati Radeon 4350, Dual monitors, Splitter?

Hello,

I just ordered a new PC from dell(slim tower with ati radeon 4350 video card).  The video card has only one outlet and dell assured that I will be able to use two monitors(extended desktop). However they did not tell me that i need a splitter for it. So i bough a splitter VGA TO VGA VGA. My monitors are VGAs, but the video card is DVI, so i got the adapter for VGA to DVI. I plugged in both monitors and all i can see is cloned desktop?

We use LMI, and here i can see that the desktop is extended but for whatever reason on actuall view on my monitors i see only clone of left one. Any ideas what i could do?

long story short. I got plugged in 2 monitors to my splitter and i can see only cloned view, but cant see extended monitors even when it exists?

Maybe its a splitter problem?
