I have recently discovered that there is NO sound coming from my Dell XPS 420.
How can this be solved?

Hi ZeeAy,
I want you to check two things. First, try headphones connected to the headphone jack. Second, look at device manager to see if there are any driver problems indicated for your audio adapter.

Hi Osprey.I am still trying to get the old Dell of mine sound going.I am a little bit more acquainted with the,I tried to write music on my HP with the same software,but the sound is lousy in comparison with the old Dell.As you maybe remember I have no chance to go on Internet with the Dell,only with my Toshiba with Vista.I tried to install something through download through Vista,but it told me no go.I deleted the audio on Sound audio and games controller.Now I have nothing.Thanks Otto

Hi Osprey. I have tried both those options. Neither seem to work.
