Aurora R5 memory upgrade
Currently I have one stick of 16 GB of RAM in my system. I can only afford to get another 8 GB stick to install. My question is this will the odd configuration of RAM 24 GB be detrimental in any way to the performance of my system. I have the I7-6700K processor.

AAaarrgghh, sorry about that Gordythebig, seems like the gremlins attacked my link. Go to Crucial.com and search for your machine there. nterHere's the link to the main page, hopefully it survives the internet. Are you in the USA? Maybe try typing www.crucial.com will bring up the page for your country.

You cant mix density and speed and ranks so Its not really an option to use odd pairs. You can use one dimm or 2 matched dimms or 4 matched dimms. 24 with odd man out is not supported.
