Break Raid T7600

Have a Precision T7600. Need to remove raid 0 drives and replace with SSD drive and install Windows 10. No need to save data on raid drives. Installed new SSD drive, changed raid array drives to non-raid, had to leave one of the old drives in to access raid options via control-i. Proceeded to install Windows 10 from dvd. No drives show up when prompted where to install OS. Tried formatting SSD drive via USB ide adapter, same result no drives available. Both drives are recognized in BIOS. Tried removing motherboard battery, same result. Bios was updated before trying all this. Disabled RAID in BIOS, same result.

Any ideas what I am missing in this process?
