Brightness Problem after installing the win 8.1
When i installed win 8.1 after removing the win8 .There is problem encountered in increasing/decreasing the brightness of screen .
I tried to up/down the brightness button available in charm bar but that is not working ( showing unavailable on button and after touching it shows windows can not adjust brightness on this display )also with function key but not working.
I tried to update the driver for the driver for display . But showing it was already updated.
I have wasted a lot of time in googling not found anything workable for me.
Your help will be appreciated .

What are you using for updating drivers? Dell may not have Win8-8.1 drivers if unit did not come with Win8 from factory. Check video card model and manufacturer and go to that site for latest drivers: nVidia.com for nvidia models, amd.com for ati models and so on.
Check resoution to see if proper drivers are installed - just in case info. Left click on desktop, select resolution.
