CPU change
Will an I7 CPU fit in a 9020 with an I5 in it now? How much will that help performance?
Is there a special type or model number needed or are off the shelf CPUs all the same mounting?

Is that an All in one or mini tower or slim tower?
Yes an i7 will work and fit in 9020.
Below are the ones which will work.
I7-4770S,
I7-4790S,
