Can a NVS 290 nVidia Dual DVI Graphics Card power a Ultrasharp U2711
Hello, I have a NVS 290 nVidia Dual DVI Graphics Card in my T3400. I'm wondering if it has sufficient resolution to power an Ultrasharp U2711. I believe that each head can drive up to 2560x1600 which should be sufficient, but I'm a bit confused by single-link vs. dual-link DVI-D requirements. The NVS 290 has two single link DVI-D heads. The U2711 has a pair of (I believe) dual-link DVI-D female adapters. So, can each of my DVI-D heads power an Ultrasharp U2711, or do I need a new card with dual-link capabilities to drive the U2711?
Thanks,
Tom

I have an answer to my own question. I found the specifications for the NVS 290. This is what it says about maximum resolution: "400MHz RAMDACs and two DVI-I connectors drive both analog and digital displays, with singlelink TMDS transmitters supporting high-resolution digital panels (up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz) — which result in amazing image quality producing detailed photorealistic images" As you can see, it only supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200.
