Change voltage to 115V for use in the USA?
Will my XPS 8100, which I bought in Germany, operate in the USA? Need I only change the voltage selection (Spannungswahlschalter) to 115V?

Hi Heyoka.john,
The voltage needs to be 115V for US region.

Most modern power supplies are self switchable meaning the will auto sense the input voltage. What your most likely going to need is the input power cable as the plug layout in Europe is not the same as the plug lay out in the US.
