Corsair Dominator Memory fans in a 730 H2C ?

Just wondering if anyone has successfully installed these cooling fans in their XPS 730 H2C:

I know these can fit in a 720 H2C, but the 730 seems a little more cramped around the RAM sticks.

If someone got them to fit, how did you power them?

I don't have a 730, but the fan comes with a power cord that attaches to a fan header on the MoBo.  There should be at least a couple extra fan headers available.  IIRC, the fan has a three pin connecter, rather than a four pin.

So, has anyone even installed these in a 730 H2C?

I've not come across anyone that has installed the fans in the 730H2C. It seems the general consensus from what I gather and my personal opinion is that they are unnecessary.

It would be an extremely tight fit to get them in there. Good luck if you try to, let us know how it goes.

I have this installed in my 720 but I cannot find where to plug it in. Does anyone have a photo?

Thanks!

you need an adapter.... and use one of the plugs that are tucked in the CD drives cage...

See this link:  [Pictures are on page three... plus links for an adapter too]
