DELL Optiplex 9020 Micro Motherboard replacement

Hi All,

It’s a sad day… my DELL Optiplex 9020 Micro died last night.

The E93839 motherboard started smoking near the CPU, and then died.

Can anyone direct me to where I can purchase a replacement mother board please?... I have searched online (including eBay) but it seems the Micro motherboard is pretty rare.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

For the record, I found a replacement mother board through these guys - awesome service, highly recommended:

Thanks very much for the reply.

Interesting that this eBay listing does not show up within an Australian eBay search - seems that if an item does not ship to Australia, the 'internal' eBay search engine doesn't show it up (which makes sense I suppose).

As it turns out, I am after the Motherboard which has the M.2 interface... and once I found out what to search for, I found this:

www.ebay.com/.../192196019124

As it turns out, this item does not ship to Australia either - but I have contacted the seller to see if they will make an exception.

Fingers crossed.

Thanks for your help :-)

Don't Australian Dells have special grounding requirements?

Hmm, not sure - this is the first I have heard of that.

I have the old motherboard on my desk... Any tips on what the grounding differences might be?

The replacement MB in the eBay pictures looks basically identical to mine.

Might the differences just be in the power supply?
