Del XPS 410

 The XPS 410 BIOS version 2.5.3 will not recognize any processors above Core 2 Duo E6700 and the max is Core 2 Quad Q6700.  Bios update should be done BEFORE upgrading CPU.

8gigs may work but  2 gig DDR2 PC 6400 is hard to find and expensive.
