Dell 3052 computer bios update and crash

Just spoke with Dell, they are working on a fix for this.  It had to do with an update for the Ransom ware attack.  They are in hopes of having a fix within 24 to 48 hours.  Mine is a 3052 as well.

Curious on what the fix will be.  Since mine is completely dead, a download update won't exactly help any

Seems to be a popular problem. There is an article on Cnet that I found that may apply, titled, "Bad BIOS update recovery from 3/31/16. Since mine is dead too, I'm wondering if Dell is going to be replacing a bunch of motherboards.

Dear Customers,

Dell is aware that a recent BIOS release (version 3.8.1) for the Inspiron 20 3052 All-in-One has caused some systems to fail to boot.  Dell has stopped the push of the affected BIOS version and urges impacted customers to contact Dell Tech Support or on Twitter @DellCares.

Thank you,

Dell Support Team
