Dell 755 won't boot
I have a 755 and I was trying to put a q9550 with the a22 bios and it wont boot... In the diagnostic lights an number it's amber and shows number 2 and 3. I've been using it with a q6600 and now after trying to put the q9550, when I put back the q6600 it shows the 2 and the 3 with the amber light too. What should I do?

Solid Amber power button indicates BAD CPU. You probably bent pins on the socket and this renders the board dead. OR you used too much thermal paste and that got into the socket in which case the board is also dead.
