Dell Dimension 5150 Graphics Card Upgrade?
Ok so im planning on installing an nvidia 9800gt or Ati Radeon 4850 to my dell dimension 5150. Its currently running windows xp professional. I have 4gbs of ram and i upgraded my power supply to 550w. Those were the only 2 things i modified in my comp. It has all the stock fans, processor, heat sink, motherboard. I am wondering the graphics card will fit on my motherboard because it looks like my heatsink for my processor is in the way. Here is a Very rough estimate of the card: 9"x4"x1.1/2" heres a pic of the inside of my computer

I have a Dimension E510 which is identical to the 5150.
I have an HD4850 installed in my home built PC and judging from the size I doubt that it will fit in my E510. I have an older 8600GT in it now and since I built a new PC, that is probably all that will ever be in the E510.

What about a PNY XLR8 9800GT 1024mb. Its smaller, a bit thinner and only takes up one bay. Heres a video giving you an idea of how big it is. Thanks

What will fit is certain GTS250s. Such as the Gigabyte. You would want to upgrade the PSU as well. I have used this BFGTech. Any good PSU would work, but the graphics card is tricky. I know that the Gigabyte just fits. It is the same as a 9800GTX+.
