Dell Inspiron One 2020
Hi, I hope someone can help me. I am having issues dimming the display of a Dell Inspiron One 2020 desktop. I have the dimming on the left side at zero and all icons are washed out and the black lettering on white is hard to read. Can someone please advise me how to dim the display? I have Windows 7.

Hi Bernie,
Kindly try these steps and advise the result,
*Were any recent changes (software/hardware) made to the system.
*Can you send a screen shot depicting the error.
*Check if the same issue is seen in safemode with networking.If is not seen then its a software issue.
Also do send the service tag of the system via private message so that I can assist you further.

Sorry Jennifer, this is a hardware issue, by the way common also to other AIO makes.
After $239 guaranty renewal and 2 solid hours with a very kind, patient and knowledgeable tech the problem was back. I have to boot and reboot up to 10 times and then the issue disappears, for some time ONLY.
